Housing has become a commodity in the UK and is all about profit-maximising for shareholders not about building great homes.

I think differently about new builds. That’s because I built my own house back in 2009 and I had the opportunity to work with the architects on the design and specification of what I wanted.

The result is a fantastic home for me and my family that is environmentally friendly, robust and brilliantly designed. What’s more, it cost the same as the neighbouring Victorian property with its drafty windows and a layout designed for living in the 19^th century.

I’ve been on a mission ever since to help more people do the same.

I believe that if more of us had a say in the creation of our own homes, we’d end up with better ones up and down the country. Better design, better quality, better for the environment and better value.

Doing your own self-build is amazing, but it’s not for the faint hearted. Finding a plot can be very time-consuming, and getting planning is both risky and potentially very costly.

We offer plots that already have planning permission and are ready to go and shells that are ready to fit-out.
